RnBFest About the Festival
With the support of Mayor Richard Lalonde and city council, Don Jacobs founded the first Annual Clarence - Rockland RnBFEST, in Nov. of 2008.
The RnBFEST was created to provide a new community Annual Celebration for the musical enjoyment of our citizens, to promote the excellent facilities in our area, to feature local and touring musicians and to encourage visitors and tourists to our community.
The 1st RnBFEST was a one night event, featuring Jake and the Fundamentals, from North Bay, and a variety of local vocalists.
The RnBFEST program was expanded in 2009, to a 4 day event with a variety of local and out of town performers, including headliner Ricky Paquette.
In 2010 the RnBfest was also a 4 day event with a variety of local and out of town performers, such as Jeff Rogers and "the FunKtion" from Ottawa.
The Team is very grateful to the City of Clarence-Rockland, RnBFEST founding partner ( the River Rock Inn ) and the growing RnBFEST - Community Support Network of businesses, groups and individuals for their terrific support and assistance.
